Active acne and residual acne scarring are two different problems with two different solutions. We often work on both in parallel — calming current breakouts while rebuilding the texture left behind.
How we actually fix it.
For active acne, we start with a medical-grade peel or an enzymatic facial to decongest pores and calm inflammation, and build a home-care routine alongside. For residual scarring — ice-pick scars, boxcar scars, rolling texture — microneedling and Morpheus8 are the two most effective tools, often paired with PRF for faster healing and amplified collagen response. For tethered or rolling scars specifically, we add subcision — a precise needle technique that releases the fibrous bands anchoring the scar down — frequently combined with PRF or filler in the same session for a more complete correction.
