PRF — platelet-rich fibrin — is the next generation of PRP. We draw a small amount of your blood, spin it in a specialized centrifuge to concentrate growth factors, and apply the resulting fibrin topically during microneedling, or inject it directly into areas like the under-eyes.
The advantage of PRF over PRP is the fibrin matrix, which holds the growth factors in the tissue longer — meaning more sustained healing and collagen stimulation.
