Radiesse
Hyperdilute biostimulation that rebuilds neck, chest, and hands.
Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), heavily diluted so it spreads across larger areas and works as a biostimulator rather than a volumizer — waking up your own collagen and elastin to firm and smooth the skin. We use it most for the neck, the décolletage (FDA-approved in 2026), the hands, and non-surgical body tightening.

- Treatment time
- 45–60 minutes
- Downtime
- Mild bruising, swelling, or tenderness for a few days. No daily massage protocol required.
- Results
- Early firmness at 2–4 weeks, peak at 3–6 months. Usually 1–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Results last 12–18 months.
What radiesse actually does.
Standard Radiesse is a robust volumizer. When we dilute it heavily with saline and lidocaine — the 'hyperdilute' technique Maria uses — it stops acting like a filler and starts acting like a biostimulator: a fine network of calcium-hydroxylapatite microspheres spread through the skin that switches your fibroblasts on. Unusually for an injectable, it stimulates both collagen and elastin, which is why it's so well-suited to crepey, lax skin.
The neck and décolletage are where it shines. Published clinical work on hyperdilute CaHA for the neck has shown meaningful improvement in horizontal lines and laxity alongside a measurable increase in skin thickness — and as of April 2026, Radiesse is FDA-approved for treating wrinkles on the chest, one of the only injectables with a true on-label body indication. We also use it on the backs of the hands and, for the right candidate, as a non-surgical tightening treatment for the buttocks and body to improve skin texture and the look of dimpling. That last use is off-label, and we'll always tell you so.
Most patients need one to three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with results that develop over a few months and hold for roughly a year to eighteen months. Patients come to us from across North Haven and the Greater New Haven area for skin-quality work that surgery can't offer and creams can't reach.

Adults bothered by crepey, lax, or thinning skin on the neck, chest, hands, or body who want gradual improvement without surgery. Not for patients seeking large structural volume, and not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. A consultation determines the right dilution and whether Radiesse, Sculptra, or a combination fits you best.
Temporary bruising, swelling, and tenderness at injection sites. Nodules are uncommon at hyperdilute concentrations when placed at the correct depth. CaHA can't be dissolved, so we treat conservatively.
Avoid heavy exercise, heat, and saunas for 48 hours. Gentle skincare and daily SPF. We'll give you area-specific instructions — no intensive massage regimen is needed.
