As we age, we lose collagen, fat, and bone density in the face, which leads to hollowing, sagging, and deeper lines. Filler works by replacing that lost volume and supporting the structure of the skin from within, so you look refreshed without looking different.

Filler can be used to plump lips, soften nasolabial folds, fill under-eye hollows, define the jawline, lift cheeks, smooth marionette lines, and add definition to the chin. Results are immediate and look natural. Not all fillers are the same though. They vary in thickness, flexibility, and how long they last, so choosing the right product for each area really matters. A thicker, more supportive filler is better for areas like the cheeks and jawline, while a softer, more flexible product works best in the lips and under the eyes. That's why every treatment starts with a consultation to go over your goals and figure out the best approach for your face.

A typical appointment takes 30 to 45 minutes. We start by cleansing the area and applying a topical numbing cream, and most fillers also contain lidocaine to keep you comfortable during the injection. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain. You'll see results right away, though some swelling is normal for the first few days as everything settles into place.

Good candidates for filler include anyone who wants to restore lost volume, soften lines, enhance their natural features, or refine their facial contours without surgery or downtime. Filler isn't recommended if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain autoimmune conditions, or have an active skin infection in the treatment area. We'll go over your full health history during your consultation to make sure it's a good fit.

Results usually last 6 to 18 months depending on the product, the area treated, and your own metabolism. Lip filler tends to metabolize faster than filler placed in the cheeks or jawline. Touch-ups can be done as needed to maintain your look, and a conservative "build" approach, where we start with less and add more at a follow-up, tends to give the most natural results. Filler also pairs well with Botox, PRF, and microneedling if you're looking to combine treatments in the same visit or over time.
